Camera and lens names, ISO, aperture, shutter speed and focal length when those tags exist.
Image details
Date, pixel dimensions, orientation, software and copyright information stored by the device.
Location metadata
GPS coordinates can reveal where a photo was taken. Review them before sharing an original file.
Supported files and limitations
This viewer supports JPEG and HEIC/HEIF metadata through the locally running parser. HEIC decoding support varies by browser, although metadata may still be readable. Screenshots, exported images and messaging apps often remove EXIF data. A missing field means it was not available to the parser; it is not estimated.
Metadata describes how a file was recorded or exported, but it does not prove authorship, authenticity or editing history. See the methodology for how PhotoDataLab treats observational metadata.
